Using Export Profiles
You don’t have to upload all the different formats of your image assets to Kadanza. Instead, you can only upload the highest resolution version of your asset and use our different export profiles.
Admins can manage these Export Profiles from the Admin Console.
These profiles can be used for different things:
- Convert an image from one filetype to another
- Change the color space of an image (CMYK to RGB and vice versa)
- Reduce the size of an image
- Change the resolution of an image (high to low resolution is recommended, upscaling images will cause quality loss)
- Freely crop images
- Crop images with a predefined aspect ratio and pixel density
While most image assets can be converted, we don't recommend doing this for logo files. Logo files are created with very specific color values. While images can be converted from CMYK to RGB (and vice versa), these converted files might have slightly different color values. For images like photographs, this is not an issue. But for logo files, the converted color values might be different from the intended color values. Therefore we recommend to upload all versions of your logo files individually to avoid conversion issues.
