Editing assets

When you have edit permissions for a certain category, you can edit assets stored in this category. The changes you make to assets are visible to anyone using the platform. So make sure that the changes you make are relevant to the asset and the setup of your Kadanza installation.

Editing a single asset

1. Click the context menu ("...") in the toolbar or asset detail view
2. Select the "Edit"
3. Edit the metadata information for all the assets
4. Click "Save and close" to close the asset, "Save and edit next" to edit the next asset or "Cancel" to discard any changes made.

Editing multiple assets

1. Select the assets you wish to edit by checking the small box on the top left of the asset
2. Click the overflow icon '...' in the toolbar
3. Select the "Edit" action
4. Edit the metadata information for all the assets. When editing mutiple assets, you can choose to add or overwrite existing metadata
   1. Add: the values entered in the individual metadata attributes will be added to the already existing metadata.
   2. Overwrite: the values entered in the individual metadata attributes will replace the already existing metadata.
5. Click "Save" to continue and "Close" or "Cancel" to discard
